Brent Parnell, MD, FACOG

Dr. Brent Parnell is board-certified in OB/GYN and a fellowship trained urogynecologist. He completed further training in daVinci® Robotic Surgery, and takes a minimally invasive approach with as many cases as possible.

Dr. Parnell attended Samford University in Alabama and attended medical school at University of Alabama-Birmingham. He completed a residency program in obstetrics and gynecology at the University Medical Center in Greenville, South Carolina and went on to a three year fellowship in urogynecology and pelvic surgery at University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill School of Medicine. Currently, Dr. Parnell is Chief of Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery at Georgia Health Sciences University in Augusta, GA.

Dr. Parnell joined Georgia Health Sciences in 2011. In addition to providing patient care, he is an assistant professor in the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology, Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery.

Dr. Parnell wants his patients to know, “You don't have to live with pelvic problems because it is not just a normal part of aging. I can help you find an effective option that can give you the freedom to enjoy life.”

Dr. Parnell lives in Martinez, Georgia with his family.


Barbara Robinson, MD, FACOG

Dr. Barbara Robinson is board-certified in OB/GYN and a fellowship trained urogynecologist. She completed further training in daVinci® Robotic Surgery, and takes a minimally invasive approach with as many cases as possible.

Dr. Robinson attended Princeton University in New Jersey and attended medical school at University of Maryland. She completed a residency program in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Pennsylvania Health System in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and went on to a three year fellowship in urogynecology and reconstructive pelvic surgery at University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill.

Dr. Robinson practices and teaches at Georgia Health Sciences. She is an assistant professor in the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology, Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery.

Dr. Robinson looks forward to serving patients in the greater Augusta area.
